Found this locally, should be an interesting sleeper. A 1992 323 swapped with a Japanese-spec KL engine.

The owner is asking $1500 for it, The rust tells me "not worth it".

So, what do you think, oppo? Nice price or crack pipe?

The interior looks clean, but that rust on the trunk lid is probably not going to be something that could be repaired.

It is cheap though, and that leaves a little money aside for repairs.

Np, but almost on the border of being a Cp.

Rust is on the trunk lid, replace it! $1500 sounds fair to me, wave $1000 in cash in front of the owner and see if he bites. Win!

Drove a MX-3 with a KL in it. Was So quick for a little Japanese grocery get'er.
I'd say NP for the price he want's. Rip it until it explodes or shreds something.
Then buy a cheap MX-3, and plop the motor in.

Rinse and Repeat until engine blows

Ahaha pretty cool to see what people think about the car i have now xD. Two weeks ago, I traded my 99 ford ranger (value of 1000$can) for this car. The car is in the garage and getting all the imperfections fixed. Like the rad.. Getting a smaller aftetmarket rad with an overflow can. This one as crooked hose and didnt fell safe about it. New front brakes(disc,pads and caliper) and new brake line. The rust isnt a major problem its only surface rust, except fot the hatch(like you saw), that im gonna change for sure. And to not forget, to remove that riced out exhaust tip. Looks sleeper as fuck tough.

All that for less than 500$ and doing the job with a friend(mechanic).

Motor runs great, tranny shift good, clutch stage 2, air intake, aftermaket manifold and full 2,5in exhaust system. On tokico hp blue and drop coil spring. Gonna change the actual catback for a magnaflow in a couple of weeks.
